MASSAGE THERAPY

STEPHANIE FUNARO
LMBT #13658

My passion for massage began when I was living in the North Carolina Mountains, which is where I ultimately decided to go to school. I earned my certificate at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville and soaked up as much knowledge and experience as I could for the following five years after I graduated in 2013. Several big moves later, my love for travel brought me to Raleigh, where I am thankful to have a quickly growing practice surrounded by so many incredible people.

I've always enjoyed taking a more therapeutic approach to massage, whether for muscular pain relief or for stress relief and relaxation. My approach is more integrative, ranging anywhere from deep tissue and trigger point work to light touch or Swedish, but I like to use a bit of everything I know to create an immersive experience based on the individual needs of each person. I have even had success with very light touch trigger point work, so if you are in pain but don't like lots of pressure, I may be able to help. I also love to do cupping and aromatherapy whenever needed.

I look forward to working with you to create a great massage experience!

Relax: [ri-laks’]- v. To reduce in intensity: SLACKEN; to relieve from effort or strain; to take one’s ease: REST; to become less formal, anxious, or tense. To become less active and more calm; to achieve a feeling of peace and serenity.

Let’s do that!!

I offer a quiet, calm haven for you to be still, unwind, and have a moment to yourself.

Swedish and Lymphatic massage are great for relieving anxiety and stress, reducing muscle tension, enhancing immunity, and easing aches and pains. Sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for 60 minute, 75 minute, or 90 minute massages.

Take a few moments out of your day to be quiet and still, to calm your body and mind, to encourage peace and healing. I’d love to be a part of that!

With my punchcard, come for five sessions and your sixth is half price!
